Emily argues that she still feels part of the living, and against everyone else's advice, she decides to go back to relive one day of her life. However, as she witnesses all the happiness, the scene becomes unbearable. Emily finds it too painful. She is overcome by the realization that humans go through life without really enjoying and savouring their time on Earth.
