The rationale for this is to ensure the client: Will not undergo an acute kidney injury by decreasing renal blood flow

The dieuretics drugs that are most commonly used in current medical field tend to have high molecular weight radiocontrast media, In younger patients, decreasing renal blood flow would not probably cause any effect, but for older patients, it could resulted in acute kidney injury.
