A) 2x + 3y = 21
B) -3x + y = -4
Multiply equation B) by -3
B) 9x -3y = 12 then adding it to equation A
A) 2x + 3y = 21
11x = 33
x = 3
A) 2x + 3y = 21
2*3 + 3y = 21
3y = 15
y = 5
