y = mx + b is the slope intercept form.
mx = the slope of the graph
b = the y intercept.
The slope of this equation would be
-5/4x
The y intercept would be
1

We have the following equation:
Y = -5/4 x + 1
The slope of the line in this case is:
m = -5 / 4
The intersection with the y axis occurs when x = 0:
Y = -5/4 (0) +1
Y = 1
Note: See attached image.
Answer:
m = -5 / 4
Y = 1
