Since we need to work backwards, we will be doing the opposite of what the problem says. Think, if Tyler weighs 22 1/2 pounds on the moon, what do we have to do in order to find his weight on earth? In other words, “his weight on earth = his weight on the moon * 6 (because it is the opposite of 1/6) okay, let’s fill in what we know. His eight on earth (don’t know yet) = his weight on the moon (22 1/2 pounds) times 6. Okay so we basically have x = 22 1/2 * 6. Solve for x, so multiply 22 1/2 by 6 using a calculator or hand written multiplication. This will be your answer! So overall, on earth, Tyler weighs 135 pounds. Hope this helped! Good luck!

We can find this out by multiplying Tyler's weight on the moon by 6 to find it on Earth. For example, something that weighs 1/6 pounds on the moon would weight 1 pound on Earth. So, 22.5 times 6 is 135. Tyler weights 135 pounds on Earth

Hope this helps
