given 2 sides are in same ratio plus a common angle, similarity is proven by SAS.

In this question, the ratio of corresponding sides are in same proportion. That is


(NP)/(NQ) = (NM)/(NR)

Here the corresponding sides are NP , NQ and NM , NR and the included angle is angle N .

So the two triangles are similar by SAS and out of the 4 options, correct option is the second option .
