Although several years apart, either the French revolution in 1789 or the Cuban revolution in 1959 started because of similar reason such as a change in their government.

On the one hand, French wanted a new constitution since they didn't have a real voice in the National Assembly and on the other hand, Castro led a force of rebels against the government of the dictatorFulgencio Batista, who had grabbed the power canceling the election where Fidel Castro would have won a seat on the Congress.
