0.8 can also be expressed as 8/10, so in order to find the cost of 0.8 pounds of granola, you first need to divide $2.20/10. This equals $0.22, so 1/10 of a pound equals $0.22. To find 0.8 pounds, simply multiply $0.22 by 8.

Hence, the answer is $1.76 for 0.8 pounds of granola.

So since granola is $2.20 a pound 0.8 pound is your desired amount so you just put 2.20 times 0.8 into a calculator and it comes out to be $1.76 for 0.8 pound of granola.
