Goal difficulty. Within the goal-setting theory, the term challenge, describes how difficult the goal is to obtain. It's said that for a goal to motivate you to achieve it, there needs to be a certain amount of difficulty. Without any level of difficulty present, there really isn't anything to look forward to accomplishing.
