Number of hour needed to remove 5 1/6 tons of dirt:


5 (1)/(6) / (5)/(6)

Write in improper fraction:


=(31)/(6) / (5)/(6)

Change the divide fraction to multiplication fraction:


=(31)/(6) * (6)/(5)

Combine into single fraction:


=(31)/(5)


=6(1)/(5) \text { hours }
