To find the perimeter, we want to add up all of the sides. You got all of the sides that were labelled, but missed the long side on top. Also, the answer should be a mixed number, not an improper fraction.

We can find the long side by adding up the variables that were already given:

3x-1 + 3x-1 + 3x-1=9x-3

Now, we can set up the equation of perimeter to solve for x:

9x-3 + x + 3x-1 + x + 3x-1 + x + 3x-1 + x = 1038
22x - 6 = 1038
22x = 1032
x=1032/22
x=516/11
x=46 10/11
