g(4) = 3x^2 - 3x - 9

Since the g(4) would be g(x) if you didn't know the number. So, substitute all of the x's for 4.

g(4) = 3(4)^2 - 3(4) - 9

g(4) = 3(16) - 12 - 9

g(4) = 48 - 3

g(4) = 45

I hope this helps you!
