Unabashed means 'unashamedly', 'brazenly'...essentially being very open...to flaunt...but 'unabashed' has fewer negative connotations. 'Abashed' means the opposite, to have shame for doing something. It's a silly sentence (in that it doesn't make much sense) but 'People in hiding cannot have unabashed arguments...', for example. '...cannot have unabashed identities.'
