The measure of E, the angle of elevation from point A to point B, is 5(x-2). The measure of D, the angle of depression from point B to point A is (x + 14). Find the measure of each angle.

Please help, i've literally spent 6 hours on math today and I still don't understand anything.

The measure of D, the angle of depression from point B to point A is (x + 14).

Since from A to B and B to A is measured angle of elevation = angle of depression

i.e.
5(x-2) = x+14\\5x-10 =x+14\\4x=24\\x=6

Angle E = 5(x-2) = 5(6-2) =20 degrees

Angle F = x+14 = 6+14 =20 degrees

Option A is right.
