the population which would be most likely to increase would be the mangrove tree crab for they won’t be hunted no longer by the roseate spoonbills and therefore their numbers will increase

Answer:

D. Mangrove tree crab. There would be a drop in the predators that feed on them. Crocodile populations would drop to food shortage, and mangroves might also suffer from the high crab population, so only D is correct.
