A ceasefire is an agreement to stop fighting; temporary peace, or a truce. Therefore that would be the single objective. Although I typically link a ceasefire with History, not English so let me know if this isn’t the answer you were looking for.

Answer:

The main objective of ceaseFire is to prevent and prevent possible retaliatory shootings.

Step-by-step explanation:

A ceaseFire is a type of agreement between two regions that are in direct armed conflict. This agreement establishes a period of time in which hostilities between the two regions will be suspended and where there will be no retaliatory shootings, or any other type of attack. This agreement is usually established before a peace agreement between the two regions.
