`(28)/(100) = (x)/(10) + (8)/(100)`

In case of addition of fractions , we have to find least common denominator.

Least common denominator of 10 and 100 is 100.

Taking lcd,

`(28)/(100) = (10x+8)/(100)`

Cancelling 100 on both sides,

`28=10x+8`

subtracting 8 from both sides,

`28-8=10x+8-8`

10x=20

x=2

Answer : x=2
