In an entry of the readers guide to periodicals, a magazine title is always written in?

A magazine title should always be written in italics.

Works that stand alone by themselves (for example magazines, books, etc) should be italicized while the pieces that are included in those works (specific articles, chapters, essays, etc) should have quotation marks around them to show they're part of a larger work.
