3,300 - 3,000 = 300
In eight hours, 300 bacteria grew.
300 / 8 = 37.5
In every hour, 37.5 bacteria grew.
37.5 x 12 = 450
In twelve hours, 450 bacteria will grow.
3,000 + 450 = 3,450
In total, there will be 3,450 bacteria in twelve hours :)
