How are natural disasters, like hurricanes and earthquakes, a threat to biodiversity?

A. They destroy natural habitats,such as coral reefs, as well.
B. Many of the region's residents lose their homes or businesses.
C. They are very common, so many creatures have adapted to them.
D. They provide a lot of resources, such as aid, most of which goes to the environment.
