The circumference of circle is given by :

$C =2\pi r$

where r is radius of circle and pi =3.14

Radius = half of diameter

Radius = (1/2) *4.9 = 2.45 in.

Now let us plug the value of radius in the formula for circumference.

C =2(3.14)(2.45)

C = 15.386 inches

But circumference found by Nadiyah is 20 inches.

So the circumference found by Nadiyah is incorrect as correct one is 15.386 inches.
