Lets get started :)

The area formula of a circle is
A =
\pi r^2

Notice I called it a circle because, the flower bed is circular

The diameter of this circle is 4024 ft
Therefore, the radius is
(diameter)/(2) = (4024)/(2) = 2012 ft

A =
\pi(2012)²
The question has asked us to use 3.14 as an approximate for
\pi

A = (3.14)(4048144)
= 12,711,172.16 ft²

Find the area of a circular flower bed whose diameter is 4024 feet. (Use π = 3.14 as-example-1
