What are the relative densities of these common household items and substances: dime, paperclip, plastic strip, Styrofoam, water, and cooking oil? This is the answer to the experimental question. In regards to ordering in increasing density, I would guess that styrofoam < cooking oil < water < plastic strip < paperclip < dime.
