Step 1: Add the ratios
Step 2: Divide the money to be shared by the answer (this gives you the value of 1 share)
Step 3: Multiply the value of 1 share by each bit of the ratio
the answer is the
£24.50 in the ratio 3:4 is £10.50:£14.00.
