Complementary angles are angles formed by the addition of two angles, which measure is 90 degrees.
Is given that angle one and angle two are complementary, in other words equal to 90 degrees. Also, is given that the measure of angle one is equal 52 degrees. For instance to find the measure of angle two, should be subtracted 52 out of 90.

m<1+m<2=90 Substitute the measure of angle one on the equation
52+m<2=90 Subtract 52 in both sides
m<2=38

The measure of angle two is equal 38 degrees.
