In a population of weasels, black (R) is the dominant color and white (W) is the other dominant trait. In weasels, fur color follows a pattern of codominance. The heterozygous genotype produces black and white spotted weasels. Consider the genetic cross shown in Punnett square. If there are 60 baby weasels born as a result of the cross, how many should be spotted?

THE ANSWER IS D.) 60.The ratio of black to spotted to white is 0:4:0. All of the offspring should be spotted. In this group of baby weasels that would be about 60 spotted weasels.
