Non-vascular plants are plants grouped as bryophytes which includes hornworth, liverworth and mosses while vascular plants are plants grouped as tracheophytes which includes angiosperms, ferns and gymnosperms. In vascular plants, there is presence of Pholem and xylem (vascular tissues) which are used to transport food, water and mineral throughout their bodies while it is absent in non-vascular plants.
