If the leg of a triangle was radical 2 using the 45-45-90 theorem what is the hypotenuse?

45-45-90 right triangles are a special case where the ratio between the sides is 1:1:
√(2). In other words, the hypotenuse is always
√(2) greater than the legs.

If the legs are
√(2), then the hypotenuse must be 2.
