Batu Khan was the one who found the Khanate, after Genghis Khan ended his rule and the kingdom was separated into more parts. The Golden Horde khanate became highly successful and spread across much of Asia and Europe but as all those Khanates did, this one too lost its power over time and eventually dissolved.
