Paul and Dave are trading baseball cards. Dave is offering Paul a chance to pick one card at random from his collection of rare and expensive cards. Dave’s cards include 5 pitchers, 2 catchers, 3 first baseman, and 2 outfielders. What is the probability that Paul will pick either a catcher card or a first baseman card?

Paul will most likely pick the first basemen card because there are more chances because there is more first basemen than catchers

First add up all the cards together. 5+2+3+2= 12 Then add the number of catchers and first basemen together 3+2= 5 That gives 5/12. The probability is 5/12
