- The cell membrane is kept fluid, it has cholesterol molecules in the phospholipid layer, the phospholipid is a molecule that has an electric charge attached to a lipid tail.
- Homeostasis is maintenance or equilibrium and balances the organism functions, it is the stable state of an organism.
- The short lipid tails which make the cell membrane fluid is allowing the important materials to cross through its layer and pass, this mechanism is very helpful for the cell with the maintenance of homeostasis.
