C
Growing industrialization causes the need for more resources, uses energy, and factories produce pollutants that are expelled into the air and into the water supply. Growing population means more demand for products which means even more industrialization.

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Growing industry affects both water and air quality because factories and companies use many toxic materials to create things. Factories in china use coal burning factories which is one of the most harmful pollutants. Sometimes these factories dump their waste into rivers and oceans to bypass fees and the etra cost of getting rid of waste. Growing populations also cause pollution because the more people you have the more buildings you need. You have to destroy landscapes to bulid neighborhoods, hospitols, offices, apartments, schools etc. People also create trash which a lot of the time ends up in the ocean which casue polluted water. These are only a few examples.
