Microflora refers to a group of bacteria and other microorganisms in an ecosystem such as the intestines of human beings. Intestinal bacteria play a vital role in the development of the immune system.
Yogurt is made from milk and the healthy bacteria added to it help improve the microflora in the gut, which are responsible for digestion and a healthy GI tract system. The active cultures may act as a remedy to various GI conditions such as colon cancer, diarrhea, lactose intolerance , IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) among others. Therefore, the answer should be yogurt.
