The answer would be- They would temporarily divide Germany among the Allies in order to rebuild it.


This reorganization of Germany came true after World War II. Germany was split up into 4 occupation zones run by the Allied Powers. Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union, and the United States each occupied one zone to ensure peace, stability, and to prevent Germany from invading other countries. This occupation would last for roughly 4 years after the end of World War II.
