“Birds of a feather flock together”.

The literal translation of this proverb, which has been in the mouth of the British since the sixteenth century, would be the birds with the same feathers fly together. The first to use it, according to written records, was William Turner in the satire "The rescuing of Romish Fox" (1545). Later the expression appeared in other documents, even in an old translation of the Republic of Plato.
