Solve for g:
2 g = 9 - 7 g
Add 7 g to both sides:
2 g + 7 g = (7 g - 7 g) + 9
7 g - 7 g = 0:
2 g + 7 g = 9
2 g + 7 g = 9 g:
9 g = 9
Divide both sides of 9 g = 9 by 9:
(9 g)/9 = 9/9
9/9 = 1:
g = 9/9
9/9 = 1:
Answer: g = 1
