7^2 - 2(24)= -34 because you do 7^2 first which is 14 and then do 2(24) which equals 48 so you subtract 14-48 which equals -34, YOUR WELCOME!

7^2 is the same thing as saying 7 times 7. When you raise a number to a power x, you just multiply the number by itself x times.
2(24) is just multiplication. 2 times 24.
So we have 7*7 - 2*24
49 - 48 = 1
The answer is 1
