then the small dogs will be x+36
Hence the total; 49
Thus, x+36+x=49
= 2x =13
x= 13/2
= 6.5
while x +36 = 42.5
But, we cant have half dogs
Therefore, we can either have 7 big dogs and 42 small dogs, or 6 big dogs and 43 small dogs.
