Your first answer for the first question would be D. √ab
Your correct answer to the 2nd question would be x = 6√3 and y = 3√3

y^2 = 27
y = 3√3
x^2 = (3√3)^2 +9^2
x^2 = 27 + 81
x^2 = 108
x = 6√3
x = 6√3 and y = 3√3
answer is A,
