What are the types of "writs" used to have a case heard by the United States Supreme Court? (Site 1)

A writ is issued by the courts, generally against the states. Under their writ jurisdiction, high courts and the supreme court can issue appropriate writs in the nature of Habeas Corpus, Mandamus, Prohibition, Certiorari, and Quo Warranto!!
