(396/x) - 10 = -22
396/x = -12
396 = -12x
x = -33
---
396/x - 10 = -22
396 = -22(x - 10)
18 = -(x - 10)
x = 10 - 18
x = -8
So, depending on what you're asking, the answer is:
x = -33 or x = -8
