An irregular piece of metal has a mass of 2.46 kg and when it was submerged into 52 mL of water, the water level changed to 184 mL. What is the density og the object in units of g/mL

First, we will find the volume of the metal :

V = 184 - 52

V = 132 mL

Next, we will find its density :

ρ = m / V

ρ = 2.46 / 132

ρ = 0.0186 kg/mL

ρ = 18.6 g/mL
