Christa carrying the baby to the 43rd week would make her baby postmature. Postmaturity is a common phrase that simply means the baby has been in gestation for longer than 42 weeks or more than 294 after the first day of the mothers last period. This is not very common, roughly 6 percent of babies are born at 42 weeks or any later.
