Richard Milhous Nixon, the 37th president of the United States visited The Great wall to support improved relations. During February 21st to 28th, 1972, president Nixon visited China to establish formal diplomatic between the two countries. The American magazine "TIME" published the photo of Nixon at the wall on its cover as a tribute.
