Answer: Torsade de Pointes

This is a kind of lethal cardiac arrhythmia which can occur as the complication of QT syndrome.

In case of this disease the repolarization is prolonged due to some electrolyte disturbance or because of some drugs.

This can result in degeration of the venticular fibrillation or ceasing spontaneously.

Torsade de Pointes is the lethal cardiac arrhythmia which can occur as the complication of QT syndrome.

A specific form of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia in patients with a long QT interval. It is being characterized by irregular, rapid and QRS complexes, which appear to be twisting around the ECG baseline.
The arrhythmia may cease spontaneously or degenerate into ventricular fibrillation.
