Southwest could mock of land being taken and its gone so this was a major problem in southwest.

The form of discrimination that is most directly affected the Mexican Americans living in the Southwest is the taking of land. It is because if it has found out that they are not a native or was even born or from a different culture, they are likely to be looked down upon and the land that they own are likely to be taken away from them.
