Why do you think a messenger is needed to complete protein synthesis?

A messenger is required to translate the coding into actual physical proteins. You can't have proteins be directly built from DNA because it is fragile and meant as storage, not manufacturing, for a cell. RNA and tRNA are used to transfer the instructions from DNA to organelles designed for manufacturing.
