The Chinese exclusion act prevented the chinese from Immigrating to the united state.This act was passed by us congress and was signed by president Chester A Arthur.The act provided an absolute of ten years moratorium on Chinese labor immigration. In 1902 this ban of Chinese immigration was made permanent.
