you can. first multiply both sides of the fraction by (3+5i).
2*(3+5i)/(3+5i)*(3+5i)

(3+5i)*(3+5i)=34

2*(3+5i)/34 divide each side by 2
(3+5i)/17

(3)/(17) - (5i)/(17)

Sure multiple by (3-5i)/(3-5i). Keep in mind i^2 is equal to -1. can you do the rest?
