Length of string used for craft =
(3)/(5) of total length of string

=
(3)/(5) of
(5)/(6)

=
(3)/(5) * (5)/(6)

=
(3)/(6) yard

Length of the string left after use = Total length of the string - Length of string used for craft

Length of the string left after use =
(5)/(6)-(3)/(6)

=
(2)/(6)

Reducing it to the lowest term, we get

=
(1)/(3) yard

Therefore, the length of string left is
